    Just like the sign says.. "Burgers, fries, shakes, Pepsi" Several area locations, including one near downtown and NC State University Campus on Hillsborough Street. Order at the window, and eat at their picnic tables and people-watch. Open til midnight and later.

    Old, remodeled 60's era Holiday Inn. Locals call it the "Hair Curler " because it is of the 60's style round design, with the pie wedge-shaped rooms. Adequate, at best. Skip it and splurge on the Sheraton or new Marriott City Center
