has become my new favorite spot

this club is half a block from my former “favorite spot” on ellsworth avenue in shadyside. i’ve felt more welcomed here in every way. have been here alone and with my bf, and it’s been the same positive experience. this place has 2 floors, 3 bars, a small restaurant which is pretty good and a really awesome, large deck in the rear just off the second floor w/its own bar. 2 thumbs up!

    Slick, Hot Club, BUT ...

having been here a few times, now, it seems to cater and appeal pretty much to the young and beautiful ppl. depending on who u r, u might have an awesome time, but be on guard for rejection if u're not the ... right sort. pittsburghs gay scene is still pretty cliquish as i was warned when i first moved here, and found to be true. just the same, good luck!

    fun for everyone

in the basement and somewhat "trashy," as several have noted here. $5 "membership"/cover charge. went on a thursday night. great crowd from about 20 up. one knock-out, good-looking, friendly bar tender! a number of str8 students there, too - couples and singles. very friendly crowd ... but the music, so fuckin' LOUD! what's up with this bullshit, anyway!? not into drag shows, but they had some kind of drag show competition that night which was pretty pathetic, but that sort of made it fun for everyone. seems like a good time was had by all.

    great place!

excellent food and ambience; the outdoor patio is sweet ... even in not-so-good weather; go here relatively frequently with my bf; highly recommend; Sewickley's a cool town, too; worth going out there from dah 'burgh and beyond

One of the best diner's I've experienced!

Open 24 hours. The food's basic but excellent. Service is friendly, efficient and quick. On 17th Street at Castro and Market. Literally bumped into Sharon Gless (Queer as Folk) last night while I was leaving and she was going in with friends. Wonderful woman! Anyway, I highly recommend this diner!
