Jeff C, 65. A man who likes to travel is a man who...Anyway enjoy traveling when the time is right and seeing the world and how others live. Like to discover a city a country which can take some time and hard work but well worth it. The website is of my partner Jim and I's rental on the waterfront in Edmonds WA. A nice community about 20 mins north of downtown Seattle. We rent mostly by the week but do have exceptions from time to time. One and two bedroom units tastefully done and fully equipped with views of Puget Sound, the Kingston Ferry and downtown Edmonds is just a few blocks away. by the way we are great hosts and love to entertain whether it is outside or inside as weather permits.
Shut down
Well the owners and management were really stupid in allowing the Barracks to be shut down. They got in trouble for watering their drinks meaning pouring water in their bottles and then so much open sex happening in the bar. They were warned several times but did not listen so you get what you wanted. Too bad for it was a long standing Sunday afternoon tradition in the valley. The question is will they learn their lesson and as well not try to cheat their customers who have supported them all these years.
Great Music, Good Drinks, just what Seattle needed
I will say honestly this is the best dance club with lounges in Seattle. Q has moved the bar up in regards to dancing in Seattle. Great DJ's from all over, clear and big sound, interesting and innovative lighting. And if you are not into dancing you can always go and sit in the Bourbon lounge and I do not think they would care if you had a beer or vodka. Q reminds me more of clubs in LA or NYC which has been greatly needed in Seattle. Welcome to the neighborhood Q.
Depends upon taste
If your into twinks this is not your place for it is usually full of guys that are mid 30's plus. My partner and I enjoy going here for a drink (yes their strong) and sometimes some food, like the chicken tenders and fries. Really enjoy sitting outside on the patio in the summer but a good place to go for a drink and to meet up with friends or strangers.
Worth the drive
Yeah I know that 5 is out of the way (Exit 177) on the way to the Kingston Ferry (Edmonds) but it is a nice small place with great food. Plus for us it is close to home which makes it even better. From starters to salads to pizzas to outsides they all have 5 selections hence the name. If you are on the way to the Kingston Ferry or just in the area well worth the stop.
Visiting and good place to talk
Visitng from the NW and it was a Wednesday evening and rather slow. Good place to talk with friends or strangers. Bartender was cute and nice. I as well noted this is one of the few gay bars in Phoenix that has windows/glass so you can see out and vice versa which I appreciated. Strange for it is in a mall of all places.
Great food great service
Have been a few times and love this place. Have a nice bar and the food is just incredible. In a new neighborhood I call it Allentown after Paul Allen. Highly recommend this place though it is pricey.
