GREAT PLACE for a field trip to a museum

While it may be true the place is filled with a great deal of history, it is also true it is filled with perhaps "too much" history for a place intended for relaxation and rejuvenation. The bottles of lavender fragrance, the blindfolds, earplugs, and CD's of tranquility are all a very nice touch. However, they don't do a thing to get rid of the "creepiness" one feels just being in the place. Everywhere you look there is a life size (all white) statue of someone whom I believe was an actual person at one time. Remember the story in the Bible where people were turned into pillars of salt? If you do, then you know what I am trying to say. If you don't then visit the Crowne Plaza and you can tell your mom and dad you really did go to Sunday School while visiting Indianapolis. The rooms are stuffy, gloomy, (much like the majority of the staff) and again....creepy. The place should be a museum...not a hotel. Indianaolis has many fine hotels to choose from whatever the occassion may be. Unless you are a historian with a love of railroad stations, Crowne Plaza is not one of them.
