I went here tonight. Straight boy called me "brother." I'm a full-time transvestite. Didn't like the "brother" comment, naturally, and told him off. So he proceeded to harass me the entire evening, touching me, trying to buddy up with me, and redeem his position of the superior, unquestionable straight man. And, much to my surprise, the bartenders were on his side. Despite consistently telling him to leave me alone the bartenders encouraged interaction with me, and when they couldn't get that, they participated in mean comments about me.
