It can be tight. It can be cramped. It can be loud. But it's always great food and drinks. One mama margarita and you're good to go for the evening. The mama burrito and enchiladas suizas are also particularly good.

I find Vynl to be the perfect place to take people when they're in town and on a budget. The food is usually very good and the fun, retro atmosphere is unlike any restaurant most people experience outside of NYC. I've always had good service here. The thai selections, latin scramble, and meatloaf are really great as are the cocktails, though the drinks are a tad overpriced.

The perfect place to pick up a housewarming gift.

When you have an invite to a housewarming or dinner party and have no clue what to bring, go to Delphinium Home and you'll be flooded with options from kitchen wares to modern home accessories. Be sure to tell the staff your purchase is a gift and they'll send you away with a package ready to hand off to the party host as soon as you enter the door.

Some great finds

CB2 sometimes feels like a forced "modern" version of Crate and Barrel, but if you think of how specific pieces can fit in your home, there's some real gems to be found. Their rug selection is especially unique and pretty reasonably priced.
