Vintage Steak House
It is run by a group gay friends, so you can see almost every worker is gay. The steaks are amazing, great qualities, great prices. If you make it combo even better. They made all the desserts themselves, nothing from other bakery. The decor is very 80's, if you miss the old fashion steak house, this is the place to go. By the way, these guys are cute!!!!
Two floors, clean, old fashion
It is not the newest place, kind of 70's, however, it is clean. Most people are great, even you are not in the greatest shape, you can always find the fun, either in the dark steam room or maze upstairs. some guys tend to be a little aggressive. The age group are from 25 to 55, sometimes they offer free sweet breads.
Gym, Lounge, Sauna, Bath house
Great place for working out, meeting hot guys and relaxing. Sun deck on top floor, Gym downstairs, always good to see people getting totally naked walking around, either working out or tanning. people age range are from 25 to 55. It is a very fun place.
OK place
My partner and I was there in May, 2014, one of the weekend evenings. It was not busy, about 10 people there. We had a little small group play and I played with a very hot military muscular young guy.... anyway, it was a nice place to visit in the evening. We will visit again this Christmas time weekend. I know it is a long shot since most people are out of town, but we will try again.....fingers cross.
Gay friendly but not gay
The location is great, but it is too STRAIGHT. The sauna and steam room are coed. So you get a lot of ladies in the same room. Most people stayed here were Spanish. They definitely know how to party, but just not gay style. The room is so so a little bit old. I got bit by some bugs when sleeping.( not sure if it was bed bugs) . It is gay friendly hotel, but definitely not for gay.
Busy, dingy, popular
This is the most well known and busy sauna in Taipei. The location is near the gay area, the Red Building. Weekends are busier, but weekdays' late afternoon could be busy too. Check out the website http://www.rainbow-sauna.com for the fees and location. Most are young Asian guys, once a while can see Caucasian guys. This is the place to go in Taipei.
This doesn't live up to the Hyatt
The room is very plain. There is no coffee machine, no fridge in the room. There is a safe which is poorly screwed in the TV cabinet. If I want a cup of coffee, I have to run down to the ground floor to buy one at the coffee bar, which only offers in the morning. This Arcade mall is a run down mall. Most store spaces are empty. The rests have hardly anything to look around or to shop. In the food court, only two vendors left, most spaces are empty also. This is just a huge empty mall being renovated to be a hotel. So many rooms were originally store spaces or office spaces. It is a very awkward hotel located in a very convenient downtown location only if you like historical buildings and sports.
great price and convenient location
This hotel is inexpensive and near the gay area. People are very friendly. And the pool is great!!!
