A ballpark not a stadium
This past season, one of the Red Sox owners corrected an interviewer by saying Fenway is a ballpark, not a stadium. This is part of what makes seeing a game here so much fun. It's not like Yankee stadium or other stadiums. It's kept it's name, history, by keeping the personality of the park, and the city. You've gotta love a city with it's own language (not just an accent). Even if you don't go to a game, all around Fenway are great bars, food, and in summer, sausage vendors. (oh yeah!).
