The Pride Center - Your First Stop

Vermont has long been a shining beacon for LGBTQ peeps in the USA -- the first state, after all, to legalize gay unions in the USA. The gay community center was called RU12 - too cute, eh? -- but changed its name to the Pride Center of Vermont in 2014. Stop in to use the computer center or the library or to join any of many social interest groups. The center also has an active program for survivors of violence and a "transformers" program for gender transition in the state of Vermont. Great peeps with an active social calendar if you need to find something gay to do while in Burlington, Vermont

Leunig's Gay-Friendly deslightful French bistro cafe

Leunig's is a French style Montreal inspired sidewalk BIstro that has a laid back artsy environment and a kick-ass bar. In the summer it offers breakfast/brunch outside or along the roll-up window sitting area. Great lunch and dinner menu with tasty dishes featuring local foods as well as trendy European style dishes. Leunig's both employs and supports gay and lesbian chefs, bartenders and wait staff and donates catering each year to the annual Burlington Pride event.
