    Trashy Dive Bar

Upon entering the building, you first become overwhelmed with the nauseating stench of sewage or something...it smells like a toilet! The bar is in bad disrepair and is absolutely disgustingly filthy! If you sit at the bar, beware. It is so gross you are going to stick to the surface from whatever was spilled there and not cleaned up. Also, look at the slant of the counter and cabinets from behind the bar (I was told by the bartender that is from the floor caving in behind the bar). I was served my drink in a glass with fingerprints and lipstick still on the glass. I didn't drink that, as that is unsanitary and disgusting. I decided to order bottled water instead. Which brings on another observation of this dive. I noticed the bartender was only taking product out of one cooler behind the bar and had to dig to get to what he needed. I noticed a total of 3 coolers behind the bar, but they only use 1! The bartender said the other 2 coolers are broken, and have been broken for quite some time. Shouldn't the management of the bar focus on fixing the things that are broken, including the floor? So I was wondering the bar with my bottle of water and couldn't help but notice the bar was filled with drunks who were obviously over served! The question that comes to mind for me with this is, aren't bartenders supposed to know when to cut someone off to keep people from getting to that point? In my knowledge, the answer is yes. But, then again, the bartenders were all tipsy too! That's seems wrong to me. Now, let's add insult to injury. Not only is the bar disgustingly filthy, but the customers are trashy too! I met a few nice people and had some very nice conversations, but I was constantly interrupted by some street trash hustler wanting money, a drink, or something. I guess that is what RipCord wants as a customer base. They are comfortable catering to the trash. I will not go back to this bar, because I do not think it is safe. I was followed to my car upon leaving the bar, by one of these hustlers, and asked again for money. This time, though, the hustler became more aggressive and I hurried up and got in my car and left. Someone is going to get seriously injured at that bar. I will not be one of the casualties.
