Not so much of a gay time!

This club was a mess from the start, even on a sat. nite. first the confusing entrances, which you finally enter to see a small looking bar/club (so many people leave at this point. i did last year) but actually the club is pretty big, an upstairs area looks down on the bottom dance floor with plenty of sitting areas and an awkward dance floor upstairs. the sound system sounded like it was distorted and out dated. the music was pretty bad. a drag show hosted by a crude rough looking drag queen was a disapointment. only about 12 people there for the show, some left 10 min. into it. the staff seemed rude and bored with their jobs. the doorman taking the $5 cover charge looked upset about something. a doorguy near the back seemed shocked and gave us a big duh! when we asked what was up the back stairway (not knowing another room existed at this time) HELLO were tourist not regulars at this dump! but the real loser working there was a fat bartender with bad george michael 1980's hair, he was working at the time on the bottom floor back bar (which was crammed in a very small corner area) this queen had attitude and was hard on the eye's. i even left a decent tip but no thanks or anything! i bought a beer only to discard it shortly after because it really smelled like vomit, everytime i sipped from it i kept smelling something. thought it was coming from the club somewhere where i was standing but realized it was the beer itself! i dumped it. don't even want to know why it reeked of vomit. as time went on the show got more stale and less people seemed to be there. so we split too! stick to Angle's & Hulas, friendlier staff at these places.
