    Great Place!

Solid coffeeshop with a diverse range of menu offerings that go beyond just being a coffee watering hole. Baked goods are diverse and wonderful, the pre-prepared quiche was great, and the cookies and other munchies were incredible. Oh, and the lattes are more than passingly good. place does not cater exclusively to gays, but the owners and operators clearly know they are in Wilton Manor, and the place is decidedly gay friendly.

    Great Place!

Came here with my bf to have some chill time... perfect choice. If you want a place that is quiet, calm, tasteful and well-maintained... Staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful - while not invading one's privacy. Difficult balance to achieve, these guys do.. Clothing is optional, with no bias one way or the other.... as for the location, easy access to all that Wilton Manors has to offer for daytime and nighttime amusements - but at the end of it, we could return to a calm oasis.

    Great Place!

Bigger than a Bed and Breakfast, smaller than a hotel - has a personal feel to it, in no small part due to the friendly (but not obtrusive) staff, who seek to make you comfortable. The building is a renovated apartment building, close to the lake but on a quiet street with easy pedestrian access to the major streets in Boystown.. so one can walk to a lake view in one direction or be in Boystown Action by walking a few blocks in the other... While the interior might be "low-key' to some, the mix of modern furnishings with the 20's architecture was great for us. The continental breakfast is more generous than many, and is augmented with "cookie time" in the late afternoon. Coffee and tea are available 24/7, a nice touch given my personal schedule..... have stayed in several places in/around Boystown and this is the one that my partner and I will return to

    Enjoyable!

Stayed here for three days with my bf, had a great time... while the facilities are showing their age, the maintenance team works to keep the place clean and functional. It is a place to play, the marketing statement that "every room has a sling" speaks to the reality that the place is set up for good playtimes.... not only the sling, but play towels in every room, paper towels in a logical location for cleanup use, etc..... Staff is universally polite, concerned about your general welfare and responsive to any demand.. Yes, the place is a bit out of the loop in terms of the "gayborhood" in Wilton Manor, but that is handled with a ten-minute drive.

    much better

since the renovation... thought rooms still demand the skills of a contortionist.... they do have secured lockers and a charging post for the essential smartphone, which means that one can cruise the halls and see room occupants busily cruising on their smartphones or tablets... (a little ironic)....the public play spaces are nice and prolific, with at least one opp for play on each floor.... sometimes intensely and delightfully used, sometimes dead-empty... sauna is toasty, group showers are sweet, and a private shower for those private "checkup" moments...that said, basement has multiple one-step levels, which means keeping one's attention focused on the floor rather than the other occupants/participants.. I find these more challenging than the steps, which I have gotten over.....one just gets used to the aerobic exercise... Staff is considerate and polite which contributes to the pleasantness of the environment... Some changes that would be sweet.. tv/porn in the basement playroom to match the other playroom, tv's in all of the rooms... but still, a vast improvement over its previous incarnation

Great, quiet, relaxing, delightful.... a great place for my friend and me to stay, "chill" and relax....room was nice, well-appointed and well-maintained, the pool and it's environs were full of places to talk, rest, sunbathe and generally relax. Prices were more than reasonable, making this place a bargain for the money spent. Brian was, for us, the perfect host.

    Great Solution

Stayed here with my BF for three days following a conference in Chicago... this place is "gay-friendly", meaning the clientele is mixed, but there was certainly a high proportion of same gender couples checking in and out.... Staff is attentive, place is well maintained, and the location is fantastic, with every sort of restaurant, coffee shop and diner within easy walking distance. The exercise room is better than many at in hotels of a far higher pricepoint, and the hot tub is downright awesome.... relaxed there several times as part of our "routine" while staying here....Although we had a car, it really is not necessary to get around in Boystown. In sum, this place is a great value for money spent...

May be a big gay resort, but proves that size is not everything!

Place clearly betrays its origins as a third-tier strip motel. Rooms, while (mostly) clean by a fairly diligent house staff, reveal a "decor' that is inconsistent and wildly dated (have not seen that shade of faux maple on dressers since the fifties, and the look here is decidedly NOT "retro"). Bar on the pool deck does not allow charging to the rooms....loud music to 2:00 AM betrayed our stupid decision to book a pool view room instead of a view of the parking lot. The band played on despite the lack of a crowd. Place seems to be a nice friendly place for locals to hang out (including drunk lesbians going topless poolside), but those folks clearly do not experience the glories of the dated decor, non-working TV remotes, inconsistent information about cable TV choices, clogged tubs, stained carpet and inadequate internet access (I ended up using my mobile hot spot with my cellphone....). as for the "larger environment", the vending machines did not work (a way to encourage buying expensive drinks at the bar?) and we never did find the ice machine.... Next time my bf and I go to SP, we'll explore the world of B and B's...

incredible food in a delightful enviornment

my partner and I ended up ordering more than we thought possible because it was all so GOOD! Cauliflower croquettes were amazing, followed by a spinach salad with lentils, walnuts, onion and seared steak dressed in a balsamic reduction sauces, which was equally amazing! And, with that, the food could have been priced at twice what it was at and I would still have thought it a great value for money spent.. The decor walks that profoundly difficult line - campy and tasteful at the same time - and succeeds.... not easy when renovating what clearly was a former gas station. Wonderful evening, and one we hope to repeat soon.

    Will Be Returning

Came here because my BF had stayed here with great pleasure over a number of years, and found out why... a great quiet place with tranquility and peace just a few feet away from all the activity in the area! (did not move the car once after arriving...) this B&B is small and well- maintained by a caring host who supported our stay with great efficiency while never intruding - went out of his way on several occasions to provide support and assistance..... Our room, while small, had everything we needed - and was quiet, clean and ready for us to relax and enjoy, either in the room or poolside!

    Under New Management

Place has tons of potential, and a new management approach may get them there... Website has been revamped, and some repairs are going on.... Very, very clean, nice VIP rooms including a couple of sling rooms and rooms with tiedowns, but public "connection' space is not great, despite addition of a maze on the second floor.... few props, few places for groupsex to eddy and flow, no public sling, playbenches or platforms... just a few large rooms with carpeted platforms and a few guys. Maze is a nice start, though.... Despite its shortcomings, beats the competition in town in large part due to focus on cleanliness, and has great potential to develop and improve over time! Rating as four stars with the hopes that it will grow into four-star and five-star capability over time.....
