Nikki Shannon, 58. I am a writer, poet, artist, photographer, musician, goddess, Amazon, occasionally offensive, somewhat NSFW and a total bad-ass on guitar! I write poetry, blog and leave inappropriate comments on my brother's Facebook wall. I draw or paint whatever spills from my head. Oils, pencil and charcoal are my media of choice right now. I photograph the world as I see it. I play guitar, and have been for over 30 years. My Les Paul Blondie is the best girlfriend I ever had. I can in fact chew gum and walk at the same time. What more could you ask for? Well since you asked... I pay my bills by daylighting as a mildly ill-mannered yet astoundingly, nimble front-end web developer. Did I mention I have a severe sushi addiction?

LGBT B&B: Home Away from Home - Accepting of ALL

Victoria's Rainbow House is a great place to stay. It is very convenient to downtown Portland and the surrounding areas. You get a pretty sizeable room in a connected guest house with a full downstairs kitchen at your disposal. The upstairs rooms have a shared bathroom. It is clean, comfortable, the ladies assisting Victoria are very nice and unobtrusive. There is also a wonderful backyard area to chillax. There are several very close food markets and restaurants. The upstairs gets pretty darn hot during the summer days, but the in-room AC units are adequate with your door closed. I extended my stay another week from my original plans because it is so comfortable and convenient at a great price. It is important to note this is an ALL inclusive LGBT home. Diversity is the norm here. If you are not comfortable in truly diverse environments, this might not be the place for you. There is nothing but open, genuine acceptance of everyone under the "Rainbow" here and all are welcome. Victoria and team have created a safe, comfortable home away from home for all who stay here.
