Pop bar just opened, and it’s on 124 national , not too far from Kruz bar. Great spot too have some pizza And a drink too start, then go to Kruz bar for further drinks , and maybe meeting Mr. Right.

dark and dicey

After a day of shopping on Michigan avenue I love coming here for a strong Drink, and maybe more. Very diverse clientele from young to old, and black to white. No judgement zone inside. You never know who might come to this bar. Can be a lot of fun!

dog friendly on Saturday afternoons

Dog treat given free on Saturday afternoons. Great place that day to bring pooch. Drink specials too. Also give space to local artists to display art work on wall. Of course for sale too

gender fluid and trans friendly bar

Always an alternative bar where creative types can go too. Last 5 years has become one of few bars in Chicago That is welcoming to gender fluid and trans folks. Mostly 20-30 age group. That hasn't changed over years

only a few gay bookstores left

Stop in, and buy a book. I think there are less than a dozen gay and lesbian bookstores left in the USA. So stop in here , and buy a book. Great discounts, off beat gay books where you don't find online , or on amazon.
