Not all heroes wear capes, and sometimes they wear bright pink t-shirts with yellow tights. Check out this video from the Sin City Classic in Las Vegas, featuring the sole survivor on a dodgeball team who took on her opponents, all by herself, after the rest of her teammates were eliminated. And she even nails one of them with a shot of her own! This video is an inspiration.

The Sin City Classic is the largest sporting event for gay, trans, and non-binary amateur athletes in the U.S., bringing over 8,000 amateur athletes to Las Vegas every January.  The 2020 Sin City Classic runs from Jan. 16-20, and includes multiple parties.  The Laughed Out Queer Comedy Festival also runs the same weekend—this year, Leslie Jordan is part of the show, which will be fantastic—as does HustlaBall Las Vegas. It’s a big weekend in Las Vegas.

The events at The Sin City Classic include traditional sports like diving, wrestling, tennis, bowling, and soccer, and intramural team sports like cornhole, dodgeball, and kickball are among the most popular (and terrifying, apparently).

The video above is from the 2019 Sin City Classic, and below are some additional photos and another video from 2019. Good luck to everyone in the 2020 games, and please don’t get hit in the face with any dodgeballs.
