No other city can put on a show quite like Los Angeles. The hot models/actors, the first-rate Hollywood entertainment and the celebrity sightings all come together in June for one of the most vibrant Pride celebrations around.
It all starts Thursday night when TigerHeat takes over the Henry Fonda Theater for a Britney Spears tribute featuring a special live appearance by… Lil’ Kim? Let’s just hope they play the “Till the World Ends” version not featuring Nicki Minaj.
On Friday June 8, Faultline in Silverlake is having an event that would make any dad proud (given they like cheap drinks and boys in underwear). DJ Roven and DJ Ryan Jones spin the night away, while RuPaul’s cutie patootie Shawn Morales walks around half naked for DILF.
Now it wouldn’t be LA without pool parties! You can pay $60 and head over to Splash, taking place on Saturday afternoon at a private $65 million Hollywood home or just text Bryan Singer and ask him where his pool party is at.
On Sunday June 10, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump (the one with the stupid dog) opens up her restaurant SUR to hung over drag queens all over West Hollywood for Pumps at the Patio, benefiting the Gay & Lesbian Center.
Meanwhile Gym bar is catering to a more down-to-earth, sport-y crowd (given that they are also Very Good Looking). The V.G.L. beer pong tournament is on Saturday for hot guys who love fondling wet balls.
If all these parties and socializing’s got you feeling a little unsatisfied in the culture-front, head over to City Hall for the historical exhibition of LGBT groups in Los Angeles. The opening reception for “Defiant Spaces: 60 Years of Queer Organizations in LA” is on Thursday, June 7.
Finally, just in case you are the only person left in LA without a NOH8 photo of your own, Adam Bouska will be snapping away on Saturday from 3pm to 6pm at West Hollywood Park.
