I have a special place in my heart for Palm Springs.
Like many gay men, I have found myself, over the years, soaking up the sun in one of its many clothing-optional resorts.
Then I discovered Twin Palms Resort, and my mind was blown. It provides all the sexiness of a nude gay resort but alongside a thoroughly luxe experience that I’ve come to appreciate as I’ve aged. It features modern décor, comfortable rooms, and the hospitality of a 5-star resort.

Opened November 2022, the all-new Twin Palms Resort embraces this in a wholly revitalized mid-century modern property in the historic Twin Palms neighborhood. True to the spirit of the Brentwood before it, the new Twin Palms Resort pays homage to the style of yesteryear. Guests will find a private getaway behind the bold yellow entry door at the all-new Twin Palms Resort.
In the shadow of the San Jacinto mountains, twenty guest rooms and suites open onto a new swimming pool, twelve-person spa, and roomy patio. The bright and spacious guest rooms feature big bathrooms and private outdoor spaces.

Custom-designed furniture, luxury linens, private patios, and giant rain showers create spaces that offer a respite from the desert sun at the same you enjoy it.
An open-air clubhouse is a great place for guests to relax, grab a bite, or catch up on remote work. The resort serves complimentary breakfast and lunch, and you can order a complimentary lunch from Aspen Mills Bakery & Deli (a classic staple in the area). I spent several days there without leaving the privacy of the property.
Twin Palms is the third upscale hotel for gay men from Resorts Palm Springs; other properties include Santiago and Descanso Resort. This trio offers travelers a selection of excellent but different vacation destinations in the Coachella Valley desert.
