Pucker up, because it’s time to kiss Pride season goodbye. While most of the United States commemorated the historic Stonewall Riots over the summer, Palm Spring is unique in that it celebrates the homo-holiday during November, when the weather is cooler and revelers are less likely to suffer triple-digit temperatures. So over the weekend, party gays from across the country converged on the desert oasis to join the local DILFs and GrILFS in bidding adieu to the 2022 Pride Season.
Desertopia
In addition to the traditional Pride parade and festival, the weekend also offered a variety of nightlife events and poolside kikis, such as the multiday Desertopia party at the Infusion Beach Club.
A cavalcade of speedos
As with most Pride pool parties, the official gay uniform is speedos. If you missed this weekend, here’s a round-up of our favorite booty-hugging swimsuits and the eye candy that filled them out so sweetly.
Fall fashion to fall for
For some fashionistas, a simple speedo does nothing to quench their creative thirst. This Pride also featured a buffet of iconoclastic t-shirts, technicolor ensembles, and extra lewks.
Burners, and fairies, and pups. Oh my!
In addition to the throngs of gay party boys that populated Palm Springs Pride, the weekend also attracted members of queer niche cultures, such as those from Burning Man, Fairy Circles, and the pup play community.
