Pride Season Is In Bloom All Over North America

Screen shot 2015-06-02 at 4.05.35 PMThis weekend, cities across North America will be showing off their Pride. Here’s what’s on tap…

Milwaukee will be reveling for three days beginning Friday, June 5. Folks with be partying like it’s… 1995 with special musical guests Ani DiFranco and En Vogue.

Detroit will also be getting into the spirit with a festival and parade, but it’s the MotorBall 2015 people are most looking forward to, an all-night dance party showcasing four different DJs and that lasts until 4AM.

Kansas City and Ashbury Park will also be hosting Pride celebrations, as will Honolulu, where organizers expect more than 10,000 people to turn out. (Not so bad for an island that’s less than 70-square-miles.)

Hopping over to Edmonton, the capital of Canada’s western Alberta province, the festivities will last for over a week, beginning June 4 and lasting through June 15, and will include several special events, clubs and circuit parties at some of the city’s most popular gay hot spots.
