Meet Ben, the Los Angeles Most Original Stoli Guy finalist and performer for Cirque du Soleil.
After hitting the stage in L.A. in July and taking the local title with a heart-pulsing showcase, Ben now wants your votes nationwide to win the ultimate prize: being crowned The Most Original Stoli Guy in the country. The winner will become Stoli’s national LGBT ambassador, appear in an Andrew Christian campaign and enjoy the ultimate dream vacation in Key West.
Queerty got to chat exclusively with the charismatic acrobat about his original talents, why he’s excited about traveling to New York for a chance to win the grand prize and what advice he’d give to future Stoli Guy hopefuls.
Can you give us a little teaser of what your performance will be at the finale in NYC on September 19?
I plan on awing the crowd as I flip and twist through the air. Of course, accompanying me with this hand balancing, flipping and twisting act will be fun filled music.
Have you been to New York before?
I have never been to NYC before. What excites me most is being able to experience just that, the big city feel New York has to offer.
What’s your advice for anyone looking to become one of The Most Original Stoli Guys in the country?
My advice for anyone wanting to become one of The Most Original Stoli Guys is this: go out there and do your thing. Be yourself and have fun as in the end, that’s what it’s about, the ability to bring about your own originality to the table.
