The action film superstar has teamed up with GLAAD for a new “Coming Out for Equality” PSA campaign helmed by Brett Ratner, as part of the Rush Hour director’s effort to show the world he’s not a homophobe.
“It’s not enough to talk about those fighting for freedom, for equality, until you are one of those fighting,” says Chan.
Other celebs kicking the closet open as allies include Seinfeld‘s Jason Alexander, Third Rock from the Sun‘s Kristen Johnston, and NCIS‘s Pauley Perrette.
