Celebrate Purim Carnival in Israel with the help of our brand new guide to gay Tel Aviv

gay purimPalm Springs has the White Party. New Orleans has Mardi Gras. Tel Aviv, the Mediterranean gem no stranger to hard partying, has Purim Carnival. To mark the occasion this year, we’ve created a guide to help navigate all that fabulous gay Tel Aviv has to offer–from world class dance parties to white sand beaches packed with eye candy. Guiding us along the way was tour guide extraordinaire Russell Lord, purveyor of Kenes Tours, offering personalized tours to Israel, Jordan and Egypt–with expert knowledge of gay life in each destination.

During Purim Carnival (Feb 25-28), Tel Aviv’s streets transform to accommodate the massive masquerade celebration. The parade is family friendly, but as it is with every other major holiday, the gays like to take the party a step further. Special events are planned at  venues across the city, from Laika to Beit Hashoeva. For a full list of events, visit “Gay Israel’s” lineup here.
