I was shocked at how wonderful downtown Asheville was, considering I grew up about 2 hours away and had no clue. Wandering around this February, I walked into this bookstore, and had a great coffee and read. Good staff, small but excellent selection of books, and the kind of bookstore where the staff reads the books, and a lot of selections are organized by staff views on the material, which I find strangely compelling. Worth a diversion.
