the food her is very good,you may consider it an upscale coffee shop, agreat place to socialize with neighborhood folk,you can go ther for a sunrise breakfeast,or a sunset dinner,best part of this place it is a two minute walk to the ocean to se either the sunrise or sunset located across from bixby park ,locals call it cherry park,because of it's location. try not to leave without some of their fresh baked goodies!

the, crest is in north long beach,been around for years! target group levi,leather but you get a wide variety of people. if you have not been to long beach for a while and you are trying to track down one of long bech's favorite bartender's he is now at the crest,a 15 to 20 minute drive north of downtown,north long beach is a totally different scene than downtown/eastside L.B. i recommend the crest a very wel managed destination! nice happy hour.

the paradice,is a great place to eat!,only drawbacks is parking park where instructed, watch city signs! area is cruise free zone! after dinner enjoy the beach!

badlands is great layout,smoking on patio, bartanders are questionable,when in sacrenento this i the place to go! if bored travel to san fran about a hour &1/2 away!

charlies is good but,i think they needto focus on each individual bar, iknow that the owner/maybe owners are going to fast,charlies denver is the #1 bar wich has a great atmosphere/restraunt.

o.k. bar watch your money!,and you will be fine!the only thing i did not like about this bar is you have to enter through the back door,wich set the gay life back!

mary's is very different,dependind on what you want this is the #1 place to go! WATCH YOUR WALLET! but go have FUN! my opinion of montrose is FUN,FUN, and THEN some! BE SAFE! TRAVEL IN TWO OR THREE PEOPLE! MARY"S BARTENDERS will give you the lowdown on how to be safe!

fun daytime bar with extremely!,friendly bartenders ,nestled in a strip mall ,dark,cruisy,levi/leather neighborhood bar,try it you will totally enjoy it!

the compound by day,basix by night,basix name comes from "basic training" compound has great happy hours,sunrise and sunset not to many clubs i've been to that has that! great cutting edge dance music. HIGH ENERGY! 7a.m.-2a.m. the compound and basix is two clubs in one!

i find the mineshaft to be in the top 4 bars in long beach! shaft night [tuesdays] brings in out of city patrons a must go! cheap bottled beer and a nice mixed crowd! daytimes are a trip they have a bartender [manny] who will send you out with a smile!,if he insults you consider it a compliment! with him if you are a out of towner you will always remember him! they have a d.j. on the best nights. 5 stars

although strait owned you have to hand it to "greg" of keeping a diversed staff of gay men and a occasional women to serve you stiff drinks,and continue to proffit.best daytime with willie,catch up on everyone with him.come as a stranger leave part of the familly!
