I live within walking distance to the 19. It feels like a small-town bar with mainly locals. The music is from a jukebox and there's lots of pool and darts. Cheap drinks! Fun place to chill and hang out with people you already know.

First time in Boystown, Roscoe's was our favorite. Drinks were expensive, but it had a really fun crowd and good music. We just wished we stayed here longer and DID NOT wander over to Hydrate.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on a Friday night just passing through STL. There was an event going on so there was a $10 cover, but the music that night was absolutely amazing and it was pretty crowded. I love all the different rooms, except that the downstairs bar had no music playing. The bartenders were fun too.

The saloon is great, for what I like - crowded, strong drinks, and great music. It's small, but has many different rooms -- a dance floor, video bar (my fav), pool and darts, and a back patio. The staff is super cute and friendly. There is a wide range of people there...depending on the night. Many 18+ers, a good amount of an older crowd, and everything else in between.
