209 Restaurant in Boston
First to Review - August 29, 2008 - Visited: July 2008
The food was just plain bad. Not that I haven't had worse, but there are so many better options in Boston, eat somewhere else first, then come here for a drink. Our waiter was hot, the clientele cool, and the decor is neat, but I'd skip the food.
Barracuda Bar/Club in New York

A great place, tried and true. The crowd is pretty cool, the staff awesome, and the prices not too bad... Not a bad experience to speak of.
XES Lounge Bar/Club in New York

A very nice place, and great outdoor space, but nothing really that makes it stand out from others.
The Urge Bar/Club in New York

Fun shows, neat space, and cool go-go boys and tenders!
The Cock Bar/Club in New York

It's seedy, there's no question about it, but the drinks are strong, and you will definitely see something that you won't see anywhere but in NY!
The Duplex Bar/Club in New York

I have had some of the best times of my (going out) life here, Sunday nights are the best. Brian Nash, Poppi Kramer, and Kate Pazakis are so much fun, and the talent between them is amazing. Brian is entertaining and amazing, and Poppi makes the best Cosmo's!
The Cubbyhole Bar/Club in New York

A wonderful place to meet some great people. The line for the jukebox is forever long, so plan on hanging out for a bit to hear your selection. The wait is pleasant, however, with reasonable drinks, great nightly specials, and a fabulously fun atmosphere!
HIRO Sundays at Maritime Hotel Bar/Club in New York

Totally mixed crowd. Good music, ok drinks, amazing decor. It was a little smoky the nights I visited, but I still had fun.
Splash Bar/Club in New York
Posted: August 27, 2008
There is no other place I would rather be on Monday night than at Splash for Musical Mondays. The selection of music videos from Broadway (and Movie) Musicals is unparalleled anywhere, and the crowd is so much fun! Happy hour goes late (until 9), which gets the evening off on the right foot. The cover on weekends can be a bit excessive, but it is one of the few great clubs left in the city.
Ty's Bar/Club in New York

Nice place, but even better prices! I love a fair deal, and Ty's more than satisfies. The crowd is more mature and friendly, the bartenders pleasant.
The Monster Bar/Club in New York

I absolutely love this place. I could spend every happy hour here, the crowd is so friendly, and the bartenders are spectacular!
Stonewall Bar/Club in New York
Posted: August 27, 2008
The new owners have certainly cleaned up this historic landmark, but I truthfully miss the previous Stonewall. I have not seen the newly rennoveated upstairs, but the new decor is comfortable, and the DJ's are fun!
Pieces Bar/Club in New York

The prices are great, but the atmosphere could use some updating. Def. not the "pretty boy" crowd. Could be a great place with some work.
Townhouse Bar/Club in New York
Posted: August 27, 2008
Just a lovely place for the more mature crowd, not someone looking for pounding music and strippers. Relaxing and quite enjoyable, it is a nice change of pace from the crazy world outside.
O.W. Bar Bar/Club in New York

Cute setup, decent prices, and some awesome go-go boys. Nice, unpretentious crowd.
Nowhere Bar/Club in New York
Posted: August 27, 2008
Prices were good, but it wasn't the greatest place I've visited. I wouldn't go to the area expressly for this bar, but I'd def. stop in if I was passing by.
Metropolitan Bar/Club in New York

I like the space, kinda reminded me of home in Upstate... the staff was nice and pleasant. Prices were reasonable and there's plenty of room to hang out. Might be more fun with a friend or two.
Henrietta Hudson Bar/Club in New York

I had a blast here one Saturday evening, and I was the only guy! Great attitude from the patrons and staff, overall, an awesome time!
Vlada Bar/Club in New York

Great crowd and great music. Love the atmosphere downstairs, I feel like on on a fancy train on the way to Russia! The prices are decent and their infused vodkas are delicious!

I absolutely love love love the decor, and the food is pretty good (for bar food). It will get crowded, but I have never been uncomfortable. The music is always hot and ultra-lounge-y, prices are average
Posh Bar/Club in New York

Had a great time here, everyone was cool, and the music was fun, drinks were well priced.
The Ritz Bar/Club in New York
Posted: August 27, 2008
Sometimes it is SO overcrowded, a couple of drinks can make it more acceptable... Bartenders can be a bit snooty, but the crowd is really fun, and the DJ's are the best. If you haven't been for happy hour, I totes recommend, especially when the deck is open!
Barrage Bar/Club in New York

Love the decor and set-up... only been for happy hour, prices were pretty on the level and there's plenty of seats!
Gym Bar/Club in New York
Posted: August 27, 2008
I really enjoy this place, the bartenders are all awesome, and, even though I am not the most avid watcher of sports, I really enjoy the overall atmosphere and the new bar (Locker Room) downstairs is totally hot!
g Lounge Bar/Club in New York

Love the space and the music, but don't plan on going in if you don't want to get bumped into, to say the least. Plenty of cute alcoves and couches to enjoy, but it can be a bit difficult to get to the bartender some evenings!
Excelsior Bar/Club in New York

Cute Place, nice decor, pleasant crowd... not the most exciting bar I've been to, but I haven't been in on a weekend.
Estate (Estate Sundays & glamlife Thursdays) Bar/Club in Boston
First to Review - August 27, 2008
I arrived a bit early, so at first I thought I had wasted my money on a dead night, but it filled in quickly. The music was amazing! I loved the DJ, and he actually eased the pain of spending $10 for a well vodka (well, almost) I would go back every week just to hear him spin!
