Since the new owner has taken over this bar, it sure has changed and FOR THE BETTER!!!!!! Really great neighborhood C/W bar, with fast friendly service!

I had heard the rumors that John King, had fired the entir staff at Charlie's Denver, from a manager at Charlies' PHX. Well, I made a special trip to Denver, to check this out and found it to be 100% false! Also, heard the rumor from a bartender in a bar in Vegas, that Charlie's Denver had pretty gone straight and again, this was false! I travel the US and Canada, for horse shows and rodeos and found Charlie's Denver, to be the best gay Country and Western bar around. John H., (Manager) has the greatest and friendly staff ever!!!!!! This is a club not to miss.

This is fact a very friendly bar and clean to boot! The staff is one of the best in the country I have ever seen and I travel the US and Canada! You can not label this a Country or Leather Bar, because both are there! It is clean and serves one hell of a good drink! If your new to OKC, this is the place to go a relax and meet people!
