The Pier used to be such a DUMP! After the renovation, it is THE place to shop in Atlantic City. Many top notch dining options and high end stores.. Definitely a must see.

Atlantic City Outlets, The Walk Shop in Atlantic City
***** Beautifully done!
First to Review - September 29, 2009 - Visited: September 2009
The Walk is such an amazing addition to AC. The shops have a real "downtown" feel as they are all outdoor. This area was such a blight until the outlets were built. You can find just about anything you're looking for there as well as several chain dining options.

Gascogne Restaurant in New York
***** A True Hidden Gem
First to Review - September 28, 2009
What a find Gascogne was.. It's kind of tucked away and easy to miss from the street, but should not be missed! Truly traditional French experience. The food is amazing! Their outdoor patio is so cozy and really makes you feel as if you are dining in France and is even open in the cooler weather. Do not miss this restaurant!

We were there the weekend of Gustav. Our room was VERY VERY nice, very comfortable. We ended up being evacuated, but the hotel took care of us til the end. Most restaurants in the area were closed by Thursday night, Friday but the hotel restaurant stayed open to feed all the guests. They helped us arrange transportation to the airport.. Everyone was very hospitable. We would most definitely stay there again!

Level Bistro at The Commons Restaurant in Provincetown
***** Case of the Missing Chef!
First to Review - July 09, 2008
I guess Level was decent.. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, but the attention to detail just wasn't there. They said that there was a "drip" in the dining room, so we had to sit outside. The dining room looked fine. I think they were just trying to make the place look more crowded. Our waiter was pleasant enough. I think they lost their chef and the owner has taken over the Chefing duties. He seems stretched a little thin running the restaurant, juice bar and hotel. If you've eaten everywhere else, why not. Otherwise, there are better places for the money.

The Central House Bar & Grille Restaurant in Provincetown
***** Hit or Miss...
First to Review - July 09, 2008
I've had some really good meals here, but mostly just ok ones. They have a good variety of food if you have some picky eaters, but they get overwhelmed very easily. My partners plain burger was actually a Blue Cheese burger that they scraped the cheese off of (not too well, I might add). Salads are decent. They've done a nice job of fixing up the porch, it is a lovely environment. Once again, if you just need a place to stop in and eat, have at it.

May as well make it into a kennel. I don't know what I was thinking going back here. Musty, Moldy & old. Terrible towels, sheets, etc. Our bathroom amenities were replaced every day. I wish they would spend some of that money elsewhere. All of the informational literature in the lobby was from last year! What very little interaction that we had with the staff was pleasant, but again there wasn't much. The gentleman (Herbert?) that served us breakfast (yes, the exact same breakfast every day) was wonderful. I think the owner is in over his head. Many many things were overlooked.

***** It's Porno, It's Bingo.. It's.. Porno Bingo!
First to Review - August 28, 2006
Great, friendly place to hang out. Porno Bingo on Wednesdays is great fun and the money raised goes to a different charity each week. Manny the bartender is really funny & quite nice. He makes a hell of a drink!

Splash Bar/Club in New York
***** What's the name of that place?
Posted: July 13, 2006
Oh Yeah, I guess it's Splash again.. Who can keep up? It is nice now, though. I do like the setup. The cocktail waiters are super nice.. Great place to meet up with friends.

Gifford House Hotel in Provincetown
***** Great location, but that's about it..
First to Review - July 10, 2006
Certainly not the nicest place in PTown.. Rooms are clean, but a little shabby. The location could hardly be better, however...

***** Was that Britney in the corner?
Posted: July 10, 2006
Fun place to pass through.. It's great that once you've paid at the Paramount you can go back & forth between the two. Music is very Pop-y, but can be a fun crowd.

Voyeur Nightclub Bar/Club in Philadelphia
***** After what hours?
First to Review - May 03, 2006
They say they're an after hours club, but I guess only when they feel like it. I've never found them to be open past 2.

Shampoo (Fridays) Bar/Club in Philadelphia
***** Club, Philly, Yeah.. I guess
First to Review - May 03, 2006
Shampoo is much more of a "club" than Woody's. Great music, shirtless boys and a great space.

And what a place to drink! I really love this place.. Great atmosphere, lots of great looking guys. The foods not half bad, either! It seems to be the place everyone stops by before they go clubbing.

Purgatory (at Gifford House) Bar/Club in Provincetown
***** Granny?
First to Review - March 07, 2006
Remember your Grandmother's dark, dank basement? Here it is. Straight from the 80's. Very musty and a little rough for me. Music seemed OK. If you're into the Leather/Levi crowd (& Grandma's basement), definitely stop in.

I don't think so. I found the staff to be rather rude. Not a place I'd care to hang out.

Paramount (at Crown & Anchor) Bar/Club in Provincetown
***** Nice, but..
First to Review - March 07, 2006
Not very busy. It is right on the beach and is a nice space with a great outdoor area. If it hadn't been for the bus load of Lesbians (who were great fun!), it would have been really dead. Great potential, though!

It is great fun. Everyone is there, hence the crowds. None of the other dance clubs really seem to have caught on, so this is the place for all the boyz!

I'm usually not one for following the crowd, but you must go to T Dance at the Boatslip. Great music and an incredible view (right on the beach). Nothing better than sipping a drink in the ocean breeze!

View Bar Bar/Club in New York
***** View of What?
First to Review - February 22, 2006
It's actually a good place to hang out if you can get a table near the front and can watch the promenade up and down 8th. Not so much to see now that Big Cup next door closed.. Not the most fabulous place, but good to meet for a drink and catch up..

The Hangar Bar/Club in New York
***** When in Rome
First to Review - February 22, 2006
If you're bar hopping in the Village, I guess The Hangar is one of those that you must hit. It's friendly enough and there's always a pool game, but if you're looking for cute boys, keep on walkin'!

Love this bar, especially the decor. Definitely check out the bathrooms! The boys are pretty and the drinks are great, although a little pricey! They do have a really good happy hour, though. And who could be nicer(Or better looking) than Jason, my favorite bartender.

I'm not really into the Leather/Levi scene, but I love this place. Many levels, great beer & bartenders, a Roof Deck to die for.. A good time was had by all! You really feel welcome even if you aren't one of the boyz..

G seems to be the place that people go when they don't know where to go. This usually means that you can never predict the crowd, but it's always interesting! I always enjoy it and that cutie waiter William is to die for!

***** Closing, already??
First to Review - December 16, 2005 - Visited: December 2005
It's a shame Philly is such an early night. All the clubs close at 2!! Woody's is the place where everyone ends up.. It's fun enough and they play decent music. They also have a few different rooms if you get bored..

If you like Dirty leather/levi/bear/etc.. Hit Lafitte's. The crowd is always friendly, and they have a fun staff. No dancing and again, a pool table that sees plenty of action but not much pool playing!

OK.. It's a staple of New Orleans Gay Life.. I can't even count the nights I've been all spilled out in the Pub/Parade. It's one of those places that you will see every ex boyfriend you've ever had, but don't hold that against them.. Definitely a must visit.

The Corner Pocket Bar/Club in New Orleans
***** Watch your Pockets!
First to Review - December 16, 2005 - Visited: December 2005
If you're looking for trashy Go Go Boys that will do anything for a buck, you've found the right place! Yes, they have a pool table but I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually playing pool on it, although it sees plenty of action. Dark, Dank, and keep an eye on what goes on in your own pockets, if you know what I mean.
