S4 "Station 4" Bar/Club in Dallas
Posted: January 13, 2008
After people telling me to try out this club on Sunday nights because it's "Hip Hop Night," I finally decided to check it out. Big Mistake. They played horrible TECHNO music until about midnight and then they decided to play the "hip hop" which by the way wasn't so hip hop after all. Their idea of hip hop is Justin Timberlake and Fergie. No Ma'am! Not my flava at all! To me this is not the place for the young crowd. The club is very beautiful and I love the outdoor patio upstairs but just not a place where I would go to dance.
Elm & Pearl Bar/Club in Dallas

Elm & Pearl is mostly an African-American club in Downtown Dallas on the corner of (you guessed it) Elm & Pearl St. The music is great if you love hip-hop, but get there late if you just want to dance because the shows usually last until about midnight. On Fridays, you can find the boys here and the girls on Saturday nights. If you hate the Brick you will hate this club too because it's the same people. Definitely for a younger crowd.
The Brick Bar/Club in Dallas

The Brick is definitely not a place for an older crowd. If you're expecting a place where you can talk and get to know someone, this place is not for you. It's more of a "Put your number in my phone" kinda spot. Expect to hear hardcore hip-hop and that's it. For a younger person, like myself it's heaven. On Fridays, it's mostly females and on Saturdays it's the spot for the Boys. The shows are not professional however very entertaining. The atmosphere is more like a HUGE house party. All in all, i love it!
