HISPALIS ( gay bathhouse)

A few blocks away from the museum if you are a tourist better take UBER. It is a nice area but I have been told to proceed with caution specially at night.the club opens at noon and closes at 9 pm. The bar sells alcoholic drinks. It is better if you bring your on lube and condoms. A lot of guys do BB others prefer condoms. There are not rooms for rent .14 rooms to play in and kind of always busy. The entrance fee 6000 colones (9$).It is closed on Monday and Tuesday .It opens on Wednesday thru Sunday. It has a swimming pool , jacuzzi. Sauna , maze , dry sauna , glory holes. You can hook up as soon as you get in. Lots of PYT’S if you are looking for those. The crowd from very young to very old. It is not a very diverse crowd . You will not find blacks or orientals maybe one here and there ( don’t know the reason). Mostly white costarricans not everybody in Latin America is brown. ( if you care about that stuff) There are visitors from other Latin American countries and USA and EUROPEAN tourists and by the screams coming from the rooms they are having a blast. The action really starts at 3 pm up until 7 pm. Lots of the guys carry huge packages. There is a lot of action in the steam maze . At times the maze is crowded with guys fucking and sucking . The glory holes sometimes is crowded other times is not. Thursdays is a so so day not many guys. There is no place for smoking. Naked days Wednesdays and Thursdays . Some really handsome guys and the not so handsome. If you visit Costa Rica and like bathhouses HISPALIS is a must.

Great bar to hang out and meet people.go go dancers who you actually can cap a feel it is not illegal to do that, young crowd The bar has a dark room where everything goes, drag shows if you enjoy that.The bar is not too big but good enough to have a few drinks

It is not a gym it's a gay bathhouse Actually the first to open in COSTA RICA . It was out shined by SAUNA HISPALIS . It's been going downhill thru the years from a nice place to a shady nasty place the steam room is not working anymore , the rooms are free but you can see the decay all around the place.The clientele is much to be desire middle age guys in the worst physical condition , young guys some of them cute ,hooking up with the out of shape guys if you are Caucasian those young guys will flock towards you but in all honesty the place is just in decay all around you are better off going to HISPALIS This sauna opens at noon and closes around 8pm . There is a black curtain at the entrance then press a button and they will let you in .The charge is 3000 colones they'll give a key to a locker and sandals .The showers works and they are always cleaning the floor and everywhere else , no smoking.Overall can't imagine any tourist going there for a good time. Years ago when started yes but now I can't see it.
