    Formerly Friends...lost it's charm
    This place used to called Friends and had a great Friday happy hour with munchies and real good music. New owners...no munchies, unpleasant music, and the crowds have left.

    Great value, good location
    I stayed at the Candlewood on a Friday night when I was passing thru Dallas and was going out in Oaklawn that evening. The hotel was clean, had all the amenities that mattered (including kitchenette), was an easy mile drive from the restaurants in Addison, and RIGHT off the North Dallas Tollway which drops you off a couple of blocks from the Roundup.

    Great roof bar
    This is THE place to go for Friday happy hour. The bar has a great roof patio with wonderful views of Balboa Park, downtown San Diego, and the airport. The crowd is friendly and non twink, more middle aged, and good looking.

    This is THE place to go on Sunday afternoon. The patio is great and the place is full of goodlooking and friendly guys.
