great accomodation...was very pleased...comfortable bed and lighting with dimmers is the best. Hotel clerk was kind enough to allow me internet use for free on two lengthy occassions. Highly recommended!

very gay friendly. lot of hunky bodybuilder beautiful people here. Can be a bit intimidating at first, as people aren't all that friendly. Just imagine yourself in a falcon production, and start pumping. Can be very crowded, but a lot of guys like that fact.

gay friendly and not corporate. Great place if you are a tourist and want to soak up some local color. Food is pretty good, not great, but the atmosphere and down to earth folks make it a good experience.
Belmont Shore Beach in Long Beach

Some people call it "Wrong Beach", but I find this stretch of beach quite charming. It's a bay, with several unattractive "power" islands offshore, which gives this a very industrial vibe. There is a large sandy beach, however, although not many venture into the waveless water. It is better for sunning, and walking or biking the paved path which runs the course of the beach. There is a notorious cruise area by a parking lot across from Ripples bar.
Boatslip Resort Bar/Club in Provincetown

In my younger twink days, I was a bar waitress and houseboy at the boatslip for several summers..AHHH, memories of the LAY we were! This is the place to see and be seen in July and August. The setting cannot be more exhilirating. After a day at the beach, check out the hot men and have a cocktail on the deck.

Great Brazilian food. The black bean soup is fantastic and the pizza is my favorite. There is also a larger location in Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. Prices are very reasonable by LA standards.
