    When it's good it's good when it's not it's...

My partner and I are twice a month visitors to HM Orlando. The parking can be a bit of a hassle but the food and staff are worth it. We usually end up there on trivia night which in HM tradition is lewd and loud but always fun. We did have one not so great experience when we tried to bring some out of town friends to HM on a Friday night. They had closed an hour early to "clean the kitchen." We were really embarrassed but a call to the owner later on that week produced profound apologies. Worth the trip and a must see!

    A must do for eveyone.

Norms is the kind of place where everyone feels comfortable. The decor is modern. The only major drawback is the space is fairly small so the noise level can get a little out of control and there is usually a wait for lunch or dinner. The bartenders know how to pour and the drinks are large and fairly priced, in season the vodka lemonade is a must. The menu changes regularly however there are several core items that stick around. I recommend the BBQ chicken tacos. No trip to norms is complete without munching on their incredible fries, ask for a side of tartar sauce for dipping. The wait for a table is worth it here!

    An amazing dining experience

My partner and I decided to eat at the Bistro based upon the other reviews on this site. We walked in without a reservation on a Sunday evening about fifteen munities before closing anticipating an unhappy reception. Instead we were welcomed warmly and seated immediately at the last available table, by the couple that owns the establishment. The atmosphere was comfortable, unpretentious, and romantic. The food was fantastic from start to finish. The muscles and truffle fries are not to be missed. We also really enjoyed the BYO concept, in these economic times it is nice not to be gouged for wine. The staff felt like family and we will be making this a must do any time we are in Chicago again.
