GREAT bartenders, nice ambience (the pizza bar rules)....and the clientelle a nice mix and funner than certain other Sports bars. Definately good priced, and a nice stop on your way to club hop, or just to sit back and enjoy!!!

Great place!

Totally nice place. Problem is location. Expensive taxi, subways close before the bar and it is out there. Like fran's in Lynn if it can get a stable clientel it will be ok. If you like latino go there... Music, drinks and staff are awesome. Call first to make sure they still exist.

Every bar has a place.

Here you will find bears. NOT muscle bears but your average bear and down to earth nice people. Much better than Fritz and more manly than Ramrod. Some college students. Drinks are ok and the bartenders nice. On weekends it's cool. It gets half a star because if your attractive and eye candy, alot of unwanted admirers will hit on you. Like you were honey. The clientel is "average joe" but a little creepy.. Parking is none to expensive.

Reliable fun.

The crowd is cute, mixed ages and all types. Especially Friday and Saturday! (Friday is the better)! Ramrod upstairs is good for some surprisingly dirty fun. Monday nights with the drag show and hot tunes is a must see. Other nights are ok. Definately a reliable stable bar year round.

Not what it was.

Bartenders are awesome and the drinks strong, but it has lost its charm. It needs a makeover STAT!!! When there are leather events it is a must go!! If not it's a pass. If you wear harness and gear you will get more stares because they rarely wear it. Those who do (locals) should not!!! Music is awesome best nights Friday and Saturday. Go downstairs for more fun.

NOT the Eagle you think.

If your looking for the Eagle of leather/levi fame this isnt it...but it is a neighborhood cruisey bar with great memoribelia of Eagles past! The drinks are cheap, strong and go down easy! The owner/bartender Jack is sassy, brash and takes no prisoner...but he is a character! Bruce the other bartender is the anti-Jack...sweet, easy going and also makes a strong pour. Friday and Saturday nights is very busy after 11pm....rest of week is quiet, with exceptions of locals and random flight crews! Has pool table, some video games and is a good later night stop on way to somewhere else or to await what will come as over flow from other bars. Overflow.....bad side: the bathrooms absolutely are wretched smelling.

the ANTI House of Blues/Machine alternative.

Down to earth, young and old, men and women.....all colors, backgrounds and body types! Bartenders are great! Strippers are entertaining... and the attitude is nowhere to be found..... On the down side, if your clostrophobic the dance area may scare you.... If your looking for muscleheads you wont find, looking for some pretty hot boys and men....you can find them here sans attitude.

Sunday fun!

Nice place to go, good decor and friendly staff. Fun eye candy too. Playful describes here, can be cruisy especially Sunday before Monday holiday! Alot of shadows and dark as well as light space.....(so use your imagination)!!! Rob the bartender is phenom!!!! Way better than House of Blues!!!!

Club Snub

Horrible experiences time and again here. **Overpriced drinks **Bad food **Arrogant typical Boston Reputation/Stereotype is found here. On the good side, Nice decor, DJ is good and the bartenders are cordial but NOT personable. Go week nights, AVOID Thursday to Saturday. If you want arrogant, wanna-be's, and snobs you have found the place. Its about what you wear, how much you make, and makes L.A/West Hollywood seem like the nicest friendliest place on earth...(which it is not). Forget it if you are alone in town, this is NOT the place to find someone. Most guys wont give you the time of day. However, if you want pretty...and all the bad that goes with it, and the "price" is right!!! come here. You will love it. Also if you are with friends, please come here and see the "worst" Boston has to offer. Thursdays are the worst, and the Friday/Saturday crowd are just plain obnoxious.
