Too bad this bar is not closer to jr's and the "gay area". It's by far the coolest gay bar. The atmosphere is very hip and modern. You can stay at the bar, on the couches or outside. The patio is a great place to hang with friends or to take a break from the music and noise. Bartenders are ok.

I was there one day at noon. The place was almost empty, except for five or six old guys. The bartender was very sweet and friendly, his name was "Lulu". I stayed there less than an hour, but I liked it. I guess the feeling of "old gay bar" was present. There was no attitude and it was a refreshing experience.

If you are in Houston you have to visit JR's. Simply because it's the place where most gays ( ages 21-35) go. They have drag shows, wich are the same week after week. On weekends you have some little queens with attitude...and no looks. Apparently ugly is the new hot in this town. But in general people are friendly and fun, especially early or during happy hour. The staff can be helpful, attentive and educated or the opposite. Good luck with that one!
