Actually there are now 3 parts to the gay beach on Los Muertos, including the traditional Blue chairs which is quite active Noon until around 4-5pm or so, the Green chairs next door to that to the south - though the service at both places is good - the Green chairs has more space between the palapas too. then the 3rd location is at Lido beach club run by Michel who also has Michel's trattoria on Olas Altas street, Lido tends to be more upscale than the other two. I prefer the Green chairs for the quality of the food, though the music there is sometimes a bit loud so people do tend to sit closer to the water...Lido is definitely quieter.

El Pianito piano bar is closed and has been for some time, basically it was open for one season, Nov 2009-April 2010 or so. Pretty up to date info on the gay nightlife scene in Puerto Vallarta can be found here discoveryvallarta.com/gaybars.html Those wishing to visit a good gay/gay friendly piano bar should head on over to Garbo of course, at 142 Pulpito, which has been around since 2002, with friendly owners German and Javier.

Diana's cruise has been one of the most sucessful and popular gay activities in Vallarta for some 10 years now. highly recommended. She will sometimes go out twice a week during peak high season winter months, often sold out in advance. She takes a month off usually in mid Aug to mid Sept when she travels and relaxes.

Encuentros is now closed, alas, since around late May-June. Certainly was a nice hang out
