I came out in 1977 and this bar was my first introduction to gay men. I spent many all nighters there and even worked briefly cleaning the place up during the weekend days. The parties were fabulous , the weekends were memorable and the men were hot. Sad to see commercial enterprise destroy a place that was special to every young gay man's heart.
