markcavanagh answered "my partner has been offered a job in Charlotte but we're very unsure about this state and city ..."I used to live in charlotte. There are a number of clubs/ bars that are for gay/ lesbian folks as well as mixed clubs and bars. Very gay friendly with a number of gay neigborhoods. As for crime,its not that bad. For a city, I happen to like it and have been thinking of moving back.
