Rented a great 2-bedroom apartment from these folks. A lot went wrong at the start: key not ready when promised, new employee flying solo and clueless, beds discovered not made up! It was smooth sailing after 3 or 4 hours, but we didn't need them for anything after all that, anyway. If your rental is near their offices, they have a nice, little visitor center with internet stations for renters' use.

De Barderij has everything to love: great beer on tap, convivial atmosphere, cheesy Dutch pop music from the 40's, "New York, New York" with new Dutch lyrics sung nightly by the exuberant bartenders. Don't expect a cruisy atmosphere, but I did get a lot of interest and offers! :-) Go on Thursdays for a typical 3-course Dutch meal.

So I'm a bear. I love the Bear's Den. Bias alert! For regular guys, attitude-free chat, carnal fun downstairs, and good scenery, this place offers the best in the area. On any night of the week, I never fail to meet nice men and rough up a little fur. WOOF!
