Bars & Clubs in Washington DCawfulMy bf and I went to this bar today even though a few locals from DC had discouraged us. On turning up, we showed our government issued IDs and were turned away. The doorman insisted on federal or state IDs and insisted on passports for foreigners. Who carries passports to a dive like this? Anyway, the place had 10 people at most on a Friday night. Disappointing place! I'd give it a miss if you're from overseas. None of the other clubs and bars we visited were this unreasonable.
