I have to disagree with the last review. Tressa's is gay owned & operated but actually draws a more cosmopolitan straight couples crowd. Still, the place has great ambience with live music and dancing downstairs and a quiet, smoke-free lounge upstairs for more relaxed conversations. Gay friendly and worth the visit if you want to experience different aspects of downtown culture.

This quaint little backroom bar has a quirky atmosphere and a bartender/entertainer named Cookie who serves up witty banter with the drinks. Casual crowd, predominantly gay men but by no means exclusively so. Great pours, relaxing atmosphere - a great place to meet up with friends and hang out.
