Located near a firehouse and the Justice Center, there are no corner stores or shabby apartment buildings nearby, so street parking is ample and safe. No bums asking for change outside like much of downtown. The drinks are reasonably price and strong, there is a great patio out back, and a handicap accessable restroom. The crowd is older, 40-60, but they have goofy drag shows that bring in some younger guys and don't fail to entertain. Free food on Sunday afternoons is a nice bonus.

This bar has the best Happy Hour in town, cheap, strong drinks...but that all it has. This bar would be a great setting for a John Waters film, run-down and campy. The ceiling is caving in, wet moldy tiles abound, and the pool tables are uneven. Go if you like for a couple cheap drinks, but don't linger.

The place has gone downhill since it came under new ownership, even though they sunk alot of money into renovations. Having not been there for a year, I went on a Thursday night b/c I heard it had good Djs and a big crowd. They wand you at the door for weapons like a Detriot gangster club, charge a high cover, make you wait a long time for weak drinks, and pack you in with alot of loud under21s clad in flip-flops and faded aéropostale polos. Not a good time.
