Its Hit or Miss

The three stars are supposed to mean "ok." Not good, let alone great, not totally awful, just "ok." The facility is rather run-down. The majority of the clientele is not much to look at. There can large contingents of way over the hill types, and even most of the young guys have bad to mediocre bodies and/or are near midgets. On weekend afternoons and evenings, however, there can be a small but reasonable number of relatively to very attractive guys: fit to buff, on the younger side and masculine. They are def the exceptions rather than the rule, but occur frequently enough to make the trip worthwhile at least now and again.

Right For Some

It got busy the one time I was there, with a crowd I'd rate as one third hot (kinda), two thirds not but it coulda been worse. Right in the heart of Chelsea, this place is for guys really into the kinda men you find in every urban gay ghetto in America, i.e. middle-class white refugees from the burbs who want cultivate a certain stereotypically gay look and affect living in a downtown environment. Some are VGL with the standard gay gym-bod, others are not. For those into that scene, this place is great. For those not, you can get off here but there's not much of real interest.
