49 / M Philadelphia
I'm a way laid-back, yet always-ready, psychiatrist--the kind of guy your mother would like you to bring home, and the kind of guy you'd like to bring to your bed. But I have scruples....not just a pretty face, here! Love literature, architecture, Blackjack, Bridge, and walking on the beach under a crescent moon. Shy but responsive. And btw, I keep trying to post my picture on here, not that I am so great-looking , but am having trouble with that.

Bump Bar/Club in Philadelphia
Posted: June 29, 2007
Bump's architecture is interesting. Check out the rest-rooms, which are really cool. The rest of the place is LOUD (you heard me); the service is PRETTY CRAPPY (you heard me); the various coloured drinks are OVERPRICED (you heard me); the food is MEDIOCRE (you heard me); and in essence, it FAILS to be a "mixed gay/straight" place. It succeeds in being CONFUSING, LOUD, AND BORING.

Bike Stop Bar/Club in Philadelphia

This is the place to go if you want to get down and dirty. Make sure you're packing a few condoms 'cus, despite all your best intentions, you might just need them, especially if you go downstairs. Don't even think about coming here if you're not wearing leather. If you are into all of that, this is the Best Place in Philly to Find It. BE SAFE!
Woody's Bar/Club in Philadelphia

Woody's is without doubt Philadelphia's finest "Gay Bar." It's both Friendly and Hot. The drinks are good, the bartenders are hot, the music rocks, and the company it keeps (i.e., the people who frequent it) is so varied, so very fine, and so very safe yet delicious. If you like to talk, drink, dance, and hook-up, this is the place for you. Locals love it....if you are an "out-of-towner," you can't afford to miss it.

A wonderful place in a wonderful town! The ambience ranges from hot-and-let's-get-to-it to soft and romantic. The bar rocks, the dining room is beautiful, the service impeccable yet friendly, the menu varied, and the chef deserves kudos. Great views of the outdoors from the restaurant. MY PARTNER AND I CELEBRATE OUR BIRTHDAYS' AT "THE RAVEN." Sorry for the caps, but The Raven is something to shout about.

Stunning location and views of both the water and the bods lounging about the pool. Exacting attention to every detail and desire. Immaculately-clean and tastefully-decorated. The mix of some straight couples makes this wonderful place even more inviting....everybody gets along. BTW, I was so fond of the place that, knowing my schedule would not permit me to return as soon as I'd have liked to, I stole two towels, which still grace my bathroom. I would recommend this venue without reservation, but make reservations, as it is so very popular.
