Best food in Rio in beautiful Santa Theresa. Incredible setting and the food is great. Pricey, but you get what you pay for in Rio. Loved it.

Definitely worth trying out. Felice Cafe and Gula Gula have both been the best of the Rio restaurants we've tried so far.
How many Brazilian Restaurants are in your city? (besides Churascarias). Brazilian food is pretty plain, so finding a good restaurant in Rio has been a challenge.
Would definitely go back to Felice Cafe.

A Brazilian churrascaria. Buffet style salad bar, the highlight is the meat. You flip your card to red or green depending upon how glutinous you want to be.
The beef was excellent, the salad bar was ok, and the price was a bit high, but tasty.
For Rio - Good Food

In a city that we struggled to find good food, so far Gula Gula has come closest. Everything is clearly made from scratch, but it's not haute cuisine or anything close.
Pricey (a bit overpriced), but a thankful respite from the overwhelmingly mediocre 'great' restaurants in Rio

Great Late Nite Club in Rio - Rockin Music

R$20 to get in the door and R$10 a drink. R$35 cab ride from Ipanema and R$25 back at 3:30 AM.
Makes Le Boy look tired and worn. The crowd is mostly 20s but we didn't feel out of place (30s and 40s).
Filled in at 1:30 and the music was some of the best club music we've danced to in a very long time.
Beautiful crowd of very sexy Brazilian man, quite a few straight girls.
