Quite interesting but not in a good way

I had my 1st experience with ACI and "bath houses" in general the other day when I visited San Antonio for work. I thought it would be a good chance to try something new and went with no expectations. I tried to read as many reviews before I went so I could kinda get an idea of what i was getting myself into, so after reading up I got the impression it was pretty worthwhile to check out. Well, here's my review and I'll try to be as objective as possible (keep in mind I went on a Thursday) Staff - 4/5 Building - 2/5 Patrons - 1/5 Amenities - 1/5 When you 1st walk in, you enter into this little box room where the guy working behind the window will check you in and give you your keys, towel, condoms...by "staff" above, it's really only 1 person on duty. While I was changing in the locker room, I overhead the guy on the phone, he was nice enough, so i gave him a 4. After I put all my stuff away, wrapped a towel around me, I decided to walk around. It was like a maze in there. The ambience is dark, mysterious and sorta creepy in a way. Think laser tag, yes that dark. There is music playing in the background and a few video rooms with TVs playing porn, but the vast majority of space are private rooms along narry hallways that snake around the whole interior of the building. It'll take you a couple of walk arounds to start to understand where everything is. The building itself is very old and unsightly. This is not an upscale place by any means. I think I read someone mention on here that the place is nothing fancier than college dorm rooms, which is fairly accurate except I think many school keep it nicer than this. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't "dirty", just very old and sorta ghetto. Amenities were next to non-existent. There were gym equipments but what that means is just a few old machines, a spin bike and no free weights. There was a steam room big enough to fit, I'd say 2 people, 3 shower heads and that was it. There was nothing there, I was very disappointed. Now, the other patrons, here's where it gets interesting. It may be because I went on a Thursday but it was kinda empty. There were maybe 10 or less people walking around which made it seem like everyone was in a game of "find me". A couple of people were already asleep in open area beds and there were a few people laying in their own private rooms. It was 100% a cruising scene, everyone was cruising for sex, no one was just there to chill. It may have just been my bad luck but all other patrons were very sub-standard and not very appealing to me. aka, older, overweight, weird, etc. I had just finished a workout from earlier and wanted to go take a shower. When I stepped into the shower area (there are only 3 showers in the entire place by the way), I was met by this man who saw me walk in as he was leaving, decided to turn around and come shower with me. I was not interested in but kept polite and said hi. It didn't take long before he started touching me, soaping me down and I had to basically push him off of me. He became insistent on pushing himself on me, I almost knocking him out. I prematurely finished my shower and basically walked off telling him to f*ck off. As I went about the night, checking the place out and walking around, I kept passing by the same people, and the man that tried to molest me earlier would grope me everytime we passed each other. I really thought about just leaving but for the $20 I paid, I really wanted to give the place a chance. Ultimately I decided since I was there I might as well have some fun so I found the most attractive guy I could find and joined him in his private room. I'll spare the details but while he was fairly attractive, he was one weird dude and I ended up walking out in the middle of it because I just couldn't stand it anymore. I never walked out on anyone in my entire life but I couldn't stand being in a room with this guy for 5 seconds longer. After I walked out, I was sexually frustrated and needed to get off....I basically took the next best thing and this guy sucked off me so I could go home, by then it was about 1 in the morning and i had to work the next morning. I guess I went with the hopes that there would at least be some cool people there chilling out rather than total creeps and weird sex zombies walking around looking for dick. Anyways, it wasn't a terrible experience but there is no way I would go back.
