The place to stay for single gay travelers!

If your traveling alone and watching your spending you wont find a better hotel. The hotel itself has really small rooms, no elevator, they charge for wifi,and the worst views outside your window you can imagine. But its the amenities that this place and its location have that make this well styled place such a find. Your within walking distance of everything... kingscross, the station that takes you to bondi, and most importantly Oxford st! once you nab an aussie you can litterally walk back to your hotel room, hookup, and be back at the clubs for another round. The neiborhood is great because its filled with hipster cafes that all the king's cross hostel kids love to go to. BUT my favorite feature of the hotel it the free pass they give you to FitnessFirst. Aussies are so fit, you have to try a group fitness class at the kingscross fitnessfirst ITS SOO GAY! Your working up a sweat with all these hotties while enjoying an incredible view of the harbor. not to be missed! gotta stay here!

Seen its better days

The age of the mega club pumping trance into the wee hours of the morning is on its way out. Coming from LA i didnt think places like this still existed. Most expesive cover on oxford st, music that sounds like a single song on repeat, lasers from every direction, most everyone dancing topless, and drinks getting spilled left and right. Only check this place out when everything else is dead or youre approaching the 2am lock-in time. To it's credit, i always ended up hooking up with someone whenever i went since its the type of place where no conversation is required...you just go up to the guy, smile, grind, make out, and ask him back to your hotel.

Give it a chance

If your a foreign traveler, this should be your base of attack on oxford st. It's your best chance at making friends with an aussie. They're the only place thats has something going on EVERY night,and its not just creepers during the week. I had the best luck meeting cute young guys Mon-Wed since most of them are qantas/v australia flight attendants looking to party on their night off. WED is not to be missed! its called MALEBOX, they slap a # on you when you walk in and througout the night you can send and recieve messages to people just by adressing it to the # they have. 3 floors with the clientel getting younger with each floor you go up.

The straights are taking over

First visited this club in april. It was filled with gay guys and their "hags". When i went back in August, the "hags" had taken over. just do a quick walkthrough to see if there are any gay straglers left, you wont have much competition.
