Oh man, I love this building! The Social is a turn of the century church transformed into a nightclub. What a great space. Every Thursday is a party with lots of hot college kids starting their weekend off right. There is never a cover, ridiculous drink specials, and always a good time. The Downstairs has been transformed into an amazing lounge area and must be seen to be believed, and the upstairs is one giant dance floor that always goes till late. The Social is defiantly the spot to hit on Thursday nights.

G bar on Saturday is the Mecca of Gaybor! There are tons of hot men, a sexy space, great service and always ahead of the curve. Lady Gaga played there before she was famous and the shows and events continue to amaze. Great local talent (I love Macaviti) and the atmosphere is electric. This place is for anybody looking to dance off a weeks worth of troubles. The light show is fantastic, the dance floor is always packed, and the music pounding. From drag queens to go-go guys, locals to tourists, everybody whos anybody swings by the G. This will be the spot for Gasparilla this year so get your pirate hats now!

I love the commenter who had an issue with the lack of coat check LOL! We live in FLORIDA, the only state in the United States that did not even a dusting this year during SMOWMAGEDDON. If I Can walk from my car to Steam in nothing but pasties and pumps (just a dude who likes to go out for a good time No Hate) then I think anyone can handle the cold. And the hot guys all take off their sweaters inside just sayin. Its amazing actually, what Gaybor has become in just the last four years. I always feel safe no matter how Im dressed and for anyone wondering about parking there are car lots on the other side of palm for as low as three dollars (Sometimes you just need to look). Dont really consider parking much of an issue since everywhere in Gaybor is in walking distance and I usually go to more then one venue but the Honey Pot on Friday is the tops. The Dancers are just the way I like um all gay or gay-for-pay, the bar staff is friendly and lively, and in the past security has helped me retrieve a lost cell phone. The crowd is an eclectic mix of locals and visitors and always up for a good time and extremely entertaining. There is a Drag Show every Friday night at 12ish (drag time) which is phenomenal and comparative to anything Ive ever seen in the East Village, Miami, or London except it only costs five bills. Oh, and best of all are the theme parties, the whole club is transformed for one night! Cant wait to see what happens for Gasparilla. Half naked pirates, thats my kind of party..
