    Excellent Dining Experience

My partner and I came late and were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere was winding down but I could see it still had a great vibe. The decor is island kitsch but in a good way because I felt transported back to the Greek isle of Mykonos with its brightly painted colors and eclectic art. The music was acoustical and well suited for the atmosphere. Our waitress was not only beautiful but knowledgable and pleasant without being intrusive. A rarity in the south. Our meal was memorable. We shared a wonderfully prepared arugula, goat-cheese, and strawberry salad. My pork chop entree and my partners salmon were perfectly prepared, flavorful and just the right portions. We decided to splurge on the hummingbird cake which was sheer perfection. The cream cheese frosting didn't overpower the cake as most do. I could swear they used marscapone to make it. The cake itself was dense and moist. We like to consider ourselves foodies and this place exceeded our expectations. One of the owners, Antonio, came to our table after our meal and introduced himself and we can confirm that he's "molto bello". If your looking for fine dining with a an upbeat atmosphere, don't miss this place. It's now a favorite of ours.

    Critigay

I am sad to report that hamburger marys is hamburger without the Mary. Service has been slow and sloppy the last two visits. The burgers are tasty when they arrive. The management needs to grow a pair and make this a GAY and fun destination. A reason for people to want to come and be entertained. Get on a plane to NYC and head to Lips and take copious notes. The straight world will come too if the shows are entertaining. Lets not loose another gay establishment because of poor business managers..

Get there early. Long lines almost always. Architectural Marvel.

Beautiful buildings, poor lighting, good collection of early works so may not be for everyone.. I personally enjoy his early work. Especially his lautrec fascination and blue period.

Chic and comfortable. Rooms are smaller yet laid out well. Breakfast served on roof deck with view of pool and city. The negatives are the reception desk staff with NO personality and no gym. Close walk to metro.and gay bars.
