Restaurants in New OrleansWhoever posted a good review must work for themStandard hotel (3 star or less) quality food. horrible service. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get (unless you into being treated rudely and having to wait)

Restaurants in New OrleansGood but pricyLesbians in the kitchen, inconsistent food on the table. Some visits are great, some leave something to be desired. Olive Garden type food (though not as good) and expensive. I eat there because it's close and usually fast.

Restaurants in New Orleanswill do in a pinchThe closest thing to a waffle house in the quarter but at 4x's the price. don't expect great service or good food. But it's perfect for after a night of drinking and you need to fill your belly.

Bars & Clubs in New OrleansTreated like royaltythis place has kind of an alternative vibe, with a traditional setting. Very friendly staff and the lady bartender has a smile that is genuine and absolutely beautiful. The owners John and Paul are lovely to get to talk to. BTW they don't even tell you that they are the owners. I spent an hour having great conversation and cocktails with Paul before one of the performers came up to him with an issue he needed to fix. Not pretentious at all.

Bars & Clubs in New OrleansThought it would be moreI tried this bar on 4 different occasions, once during decadance, once on mardi gras, and just normal times. All of my visits led to disappointments. Good and Bad.. Bad first...Each visit there was always a smell like someone dumped poppers in the ventilation. The bartenders, though nice, were nothing to write home about which would be okay except for the fact that they were all will some age and insisted on being shirtless. The crowd is varied. The "regulars" are mainly trolls, but there are the occasional hotties. Now the good. Everyone is willing to talk to you or more if you want that. The drinks were strong. and the dancers have always been very good looking. Like the concept, but not my type of crowd.

Bars & Clubs in New OrleansGreat Place to Party Or ChillaxIn the FQ but away from the "straight" crowd. Can stop in on your way to or from anywhere you want to go in the quarter. 24hrs. Cheap drinks, great atmosphere. Bartenders are never too busy to chat you up if that's your thing or they are happy to let you be. Can be a little clicky after the quarter rats get off work, but not if you are outgoing. Just say hi and they'll be happy to have a drink with you.
